Homeschool Travel Club Giveaway

1. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Sonlight Vacations, LLC, located in Catlettsburg, KY (the “Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry:

• Are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia; and
• Are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older; and
• Are current members in good standing of the Homeschool Travel Club Facebook Group as of the end of the Contest Period (as defined below). No purchase necessary.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such person are not eligible to enter or win.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and in any jurisdiction where registration, bonding, or other requirements would apply and have not been satisfied by Sponsor.

3. Sweepstakes period

The Sweepstakes begins on May 18th, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST and ends on May 31st, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s computer or systems are the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

4. How to enter

A. Primary method of entry

During the Entry Period, eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes as follows:

“By voting for their Great Wolf Lodge location on our Official Facebook Voting Post in our Homeschool Travel Club group."

Limit 1 entry per person during the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void.

B. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) – Email Entry

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase, booking, or payment does not increase your chances of winning.

To enter the Sweepstakes without belonging to our group or making any purchase, eligible individuals may submit an Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”) by sending an email during the Entry Period to:

Subject line: “Homeschool Travel Club Giveaway – AMOE Entry”

Your email must include the following information:

• Full legal name
• Mailing address
• Phone number
• Email address
• Date of birth
• The following statement: “I am submitting this as my Alternate Method of Entry for the Homeschool Travel Club Giveaway.”

Each valid AMOE email received during the Entry Period will count as one (1) entry. Limit 1 AMOE entry per person, matching the maximum number of entries permitted through the primary method of entry.

Automated, bulk, mass, or third‑party submissions are prohibited and will be void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or undeliverable email entries.

5. Prize(s)

Number of Prizes: 1
Description of Prize(s): One complimentary night stay at the winning Great Wolf Lodge location during the designated Sonlight Homeschool Days dates only.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $74-$99 (Depending on the lodge.)

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the prize will not be awarded. Transportation, upgrades, parking, meals, taxes, and/or additional guests are not included in the prize. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Great Wolf Lodge.

6. Odds of winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

7. Winner selection and notification

On or about June 2nd by 11:59 PM EST, Sponsor (or its designee) will select the potential winner(s) in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received who voted for the winning lodge. The drawing will be conducted in accordance with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

Potential winner(s) will be notified by post in our Homeschool Travel Club Group using the contact information provided at the time of entry, within approximately 3 business days after the drawing. Potential winner(s) may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release, and any required tax forms (e.g., IRS Form W-9) within 5 days of notification.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, fails to complete and return required documentation, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.

8. Taxes and reporting

All federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not expressly stated in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 or other applicable tax reporting document for the value of the prize as required by law. Winners should consult their own tax advisors.

9. Publicity

Where permitted by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant’s consent for Sponsor and its designees to use entrant’s name, city and state of residence, likeness, voice, biographical information, and statements about the Sweepstakes for advertising, promotional, and other purposes, in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without additional notice, approval, or compensation.

10. Release and limitation of liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property.

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunction of any telephone, computer, network, hardware, or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.

11. General conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, conduct a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Boyd County, KY. Entrants hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

13. Registration and bonding notice

Certain states, including but not limited to New York, Florida, and Rhode Island, may require registration and bonding for sweepstakes with prize values above specified thresholds or for certain types of promotions. Sponsor will comply with any applicable registration and bonding requirements, if required, or will exclude residents of such states from eligibility if Sponsor elects not to comply. Any such exclusions will be clearly stated in the eligibility section of these Official Rules.

14. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://homeschooltravelclub.com/privacy. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as described in these Official Rules and in Sponsor’s privacy policy.

15. Winners list and official rules

For a copy of these Official Rules or the name(s) of the winner(s), send an email to: hello@homeschool-travel.com. Residents of Vermont may omit return postage where prohibited by law.

16. California Compliance Notice

This Sweepstakes is intended to comply with all applicable California laws and regulations. The following disclosures apply specifically to residents of the State of California:

• No Purchase Necessary: Participation in the Sweepstakes does not require any purchase, payment, booking, or other form of consideration. An Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”) is provided to ensure compliance with California’s prohibition on lotteries.
• Registration Requirements: If the total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all prizes offered in this Sweepstakes exceeds $5,000 and California residents are eligible to participate, Sponsor will register the Sweepstakes with the California Attorney General’s Office at least 30 days prior to the start of the Entry Period, as required by California law.
• Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have specific rights regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These rights may include the right to request access to personal information, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of certain data-sharing practices. Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://homeschooltravelclub.com/privacy, explains these rights and how California residents may exercise them.
• Data Collection Disclosure: Personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the administration of the Sweepstakes, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and other purposes described in these Official Rules and in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Sponsor does not sell entrants’ personal information.
• Recordkeeping: Sponsor will maintain records of the Sweepstakes, including entry data and winner selection procedures, for the period required under California law.
